A prized aromatic spice used in cooking throughout the East, the seed of the cilantro plant has many medicinal qualities. Used traditionally to assist in proper digestion, to fight infection and to expel mucous, coriander is anti-bacterial as well as anti-fungal. It also has analgesic properties and is good for as arthritis, joint and muscular pain. For cosmetic uses, coriander can aid in the breakdown of cellutite.
